MADISON-FREIBURG SISTER CITY Events Calendar Winter/Spring 2012

Wednesday, Feb 15, 2012, 6-9 PM the
MADISON-FREIBURG ANNUAL DINNER AND BUSINESS MEETING
will be at the Madison Turners Hall, 3001 S. Stoughton Road, Madison, WI 53716. (To get there take the Pflaum Road exit from Highway 51/South Stoughton Road, then follow the frontage road just east of 51 to its southern end) The Turner Hall conference room is spacious, with large round tables, and has a large bar. There is ample free parking.

The evening will start with a short happy hour (cash bar) at 6:00 p.m. during which you can socialize with fellow Madison-Freiburg Sister-City members. For our enjoyment, a band of German department grad students from the UW will provide music. And recent Academic Year in Freiburg (AYF) students will tell us about their experiences.

The meal will include coffee and milk, Sauerbraten, chicken, and enough sides to satisfy a vegetarian; plus Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte. Encourage friends and family to take advantage of this special meal; our caterer really knows how to prepare Sauerbraten! All this, tips, tax included for only $30.00! Please send reservations by Friday, Feb. 10, 2012 to:
